I'm not gonna dieeee. \o/ No, seriously, I got vaccinated today after a number of days of chickening out. I feel very happy now and hope not to get sick.

Today was uneventful otherwise. I nearly cried in History today when the professor was reading from The Wretched of Canada, which is composed of letters to the Prime Minister during the 1930s asking for help. He would usually actually send the person $5-$10 out of his own pocket, too (and that was actually worth something back then). May have actually cried. What happened to me to make me so sensitive? I never used to be. I don't get it.

I want to work on homework but have no idea where to start.

My mom bought these horrible Christmas cookies. I forced myself to eat half of one and had to throw the other half in the trash. I could make better than that. B|

Went to the craft sale at Thom yesterday. It was really boring, but there were a few good stands. The person who makes bead spiders? Awesome. Should have bought one from her instead of the more expensive ones they had at the Market Fair at school last week. The "knight in shining armour" one looked so cool. And now I can say I've been to the condom school. (Explanation: their sports teams are called the Trojans, so we, and probably other schools in the area, always called them the condom school. Immature, yes. I apologize, even though I don't think anyone on my flist went to Thom. Did you?)

Hnnnngh, what should I write for my Creative Writing sample? Someone give me an idea.

My own birthday's in two weeks and a day. Guess what else I get that day? History midterm. Joy. I really love the material, but sometimes I wonder why I took the class. Mostly because of the final paper... History uses Chicago and I hate that style. Sure, it's easy to read, but it's a pain to write and even more so to revise. Footnotes, why do you hate me so?

I would also like to know why my brain hurts all of a sudden.

Wanted to go to school today, but after I kept waking up in the middle of the night feeling worse and worse, my mom finally called me at 6:30 and told me to stay home. Now my internal clock is all messed up.

I should marathon something to pass the time. There's a ton of stuff I still have and need to watch. Speaking of which, what's taking Mike so long to return my DVDs?

I should also probably put up the posters, but I'm too cheap to redo them after our room changed at the last minute. Maybe I should cut up some labels and write the new number over them. That might work, but it also might not get approved that way. After we could only use three posters last year because the fourth one was vetoed on the grounds of somebody thinking it looked like Mion was flipping the viewer off, you never know.

...And I think I just coughed up blood.

Tomorrow is my brother's birthday. I need to find somewhere else to be during this time, as he is having tons of people over and I would like to avoid this.

One more day of work, then a week of freedom, then school. Sigh. Well, I'm looking forward to it, at least. Although there's still a lot that I need to do...

SaiFancharacter at precure is going decently. Yoko is the only one of my characters remaining and she doesn't have a chance, but if she loses, I hope someone from Shining wins. I really like that one.

One thing about school starting now that sucks is the Douglas Park byelection. Thanks to that, Crown corporations can't do promotional giveaways or booths in the city until it's over. Besides the fact that this means that they won't be at Welcome Week, which means that I can't add to my promo collection, this also means that we do not get the SaskTel donut stand at same week. B| This fails.

Gah, our Children's Lit class has some of those annoying people who don't participate in running commentary on the film and, when you make jokes during it, say something obnoxious like, "Can you please just let me watch the movie?" So. Much. Rage. Even the teacher comments and jokes around with us, so can't these people realize that talking during the movie is half the fun?

Aaaah, still can't find the course package and getting a little worried now. More like extremely worried, but my friends are going through way worse things than not being able to get a textbook since the start of term (and not for lack of trying!), so I feel bad being too worried about it. orz.

Having forgiving professors for being late... twice: Good. Second time's reason below.
Walking into the wrong class and not realizing until attendance is called and the syllabus handed out: Bad.
Having it coincidentally be the class of someone you know who does not show up and for whom you can thus conveniently procure a syllabus: Whaaaaat.
Paperless classes: Weird but good.
Individual presentations: Do not know if good.
Not being able to sell half the texts I brought: Bad.
Making available a cheap Japanese textbook for the masses: Charitable.

Bus pass case: Needs to be transferred to backpack.

I just walked to school today, and got there quicker than I would have had I taken the bus. Going to school in a park has its advantages. I shall have to do this more often.
