Last night at anime club, we were watching D.Gray-man (yes, still; we're almost at the end, and I'm sure I've mentioned how hard it is to get them to go through a 13- or 26-episode series half the time, so I have no idea how we've been watching this long) and I brought up...

Me: You know what, how injured are these people? They all should have dropped dead, like, fourteen episodes ago. (It had been about that long since they were last in the hospital or had any sort of timeskip.)
Someone else: Well, who else is going to do it? Everyone else there is worse off than they are.
Me: Point. Then again, that's why Toronto lost last weekend, because they put in a quarterback with a concussion since the other guy was hurt too.
Other person: ...nice sports analogy, Jessi.
Me: I apologize.

I'm either the worst nerd ever or just very representative of my province, I guess.

Otherwise, it is my mother's birthday, but it is also the day that I go and hang around with publishing people pretending to be one of them while nobody is any the wiser (it's good for career motivation, okay :|). And two weeks til my birthday. And that stupid midterm. Yay.

Watching Higurashi tonight at anime club. Wonder how long it'll last, since we haven't watched ANYTHING past one night this semester save D.Gray-man. Crossing my fingers.

Also, the fall craft sale is on today. \o/ Yaaaaaaay things made of pumpkins.

Nicole has talked me into going to the gym with her. I will shortly begin to hate my life.

Wanted to go to school today, but after I kept waking up in the middle of the night feeling worse and worse, my mom finally called me at 6:30 and told me to stay home. Now my internal clock is all messed up.

I should marathon something to pass the time. There's a ton of stuff I still have and need to watch. Speaking of which, what's taking Mike so long to return my DVDs?

I should also probably put up the posters, but I'm too cheap to redo them after our room changed at the last minute. Maybe I should cut up some labels and write the new number over them. That might work, but it also might not get approved that way. After we could only use three posters last year because the fourth one was vetoed on the grounds of somebody thinking it looked like Mion was flipping the viewer off, you never know.

...And I think I just coughed up blood.

Tomorrow is my brother's birthday. I need to find somewhere else to be during this time, as he is having tons of people over and I would like to avoid this.

One more day of work, then a week of freedom, then school. Sigh. Well, I'm looking forward to it, at least. Although there's still a lot that I need to do...

SaiFancharacter at precure is going decently. Yoko is the only one of my characters remaining and she doesn't have a chance, but if she loses, I hope someone from Shining wins. I really like that one.

One thing about school starting now that sucks is the Douglas Park byelection. Thanks to that, Crown corporations can't do promotional giveaways or booths in the city until it's over. Besides the fact that this means that they won't be at Welcome Week, which means that I can't add to my promo collection, this also means that we do not get the SaskTel donut stand at same week. B| This fails.

Friday, we started up anime club for the semester. Record attendance wooo. \o/ And by that I mean eight people. I wish my printer weren't so old and would actually print in vivid colour when it had FULL CARTRIDGES OF EVERY COLOUR. Sadly, all the posters are muted and hard to notice in the halls. orz Otherwise, I... may actually think we can do this despite having no idea what we're doing!

Ordered a new figure wooo. The stamps at the post office changed, so now they're Olympic stamps. I liked the pretty flowers. What kind of animals are the new Olympic mascots, anyway? I get the sasquatch, but the other two are something I don't know.

Still no word back on the posters. I shouldn't have volunteered to do them, since I suck at anything regarding image editing, but no one else wanted to. I hope at least somebody likes them.

Decapitating the doll was hard enough, but getting the head back on is proving to be even worse. I wonder if I should sand down the plug or something. The current generation of Disney Fairies dolls has proved, on the whole, to be way more of a pain than the first one. Seriously, think of customizers before you start putting in giant plugs and plastic safeguards and irremovable wings. Anyone have any other ideas for me to do next time?

(Also, how do you get saran to stay down? Iridessa currently has 80's hair, and, though it is hilarious, it's not supposed to be that way. Maybe I should steal my brother's hair gel, although that would probably make it worse.)

All-Stars trailer is up. On one hand, it looks great. On the other, no Michi/Kao (of course), they're using the dumb Miracle Lights again, and they're presenting Nagisa, Saki and Nozomi as the main characters. Nozomi, yeah, fine, but what are Honoka and Mai now? Nagisa did have a slightly bigger part than Honoka, but that's it.

First of all, I would like to post a public notice that I have the right to say whatever the heck (rubbing it in) I want to. The expletives I wish to use are in my vocabulary for personal reasons, completely unrelated to the fact that none of them are dirty. The expletives I wish not to use are removed from my vocabulary not because I am "childish" or fear being "bad", but simply because it's not in my character to use them. Of course, this will be forgotten by tomorrow, but I had to say it.

Today was fun; however, it appears that my glamourbombing skills are rather lacking, or at least that I have a long way to go in the not-being-seen department. Also, I had no idea that cats ate flowers.

How many meetings in a row is it that I have no idea where we're meeting and I'm afraid to ask? e-e; And how many chats have I missed ever since I did that one stupid thing and people stopped inviting me? Again, afraid to ask about it. I really need to get over this phobia. Even Kokoro is implementing a system where you ask everybody who's on if they want to chat before you make the room. There's no WAY that I can do that! X_x;;; I can't even outright ask for 1-on-1s, which makes it hard when you're talking to the one person to whom chat quoting and character insertions get no response whatsoever...
